Our Philosophy

At Eastside Early Learning Center we take the responsibility of providing child care seriously. We base our educational  and guidance decisions for children on our knowledge of child development. We strive to continue learning and growing so that we can nurture a peaceful environment and surround children with understanding, warmth, and giving. We appreciate and support the close ties between the child and family and we realize that children are best understood in the context of their family, culture and society. We believe in the value of human diversity and fair treatment of all people. Our number one goal is to provide the kind of environment and the kind of influences that encourage all children to become creative, independent, responsible, fully functioning, self-directed adults who can make decisions for themselves.

Program Structure       

Rates-   

Toddler (2-3 years)    $500       

Preschool (3-5 years)    $450

Curriculum-

Our program operates on the philosophy that children learn best through play. To support growth, we arrange our classrooms by learning centers which provide structured play opportunities where children explore materials that foster skills such as reading, writing, reasoning, problem solving, and cooperation.

In addition, we provide daily adult lead activities to enhance children's natural learning experience and introduce them to the types of more structured learning opportunities they will encounter as they enter Kindergarten.

Children enrolled in our program will also enjoy participating in monthly field trips, regular visits from guest speakers, and on site enrichment programs such as Music with Miriam and Library Story Time.

Hours of Operation-

The center is open Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
